Annie is the absolute best in Sf! I've been visiting her cozy salon in Nob hill for over two years and after moving out of the neighborhood I knew I'd keep coming back. We've done so many fun designs and she is always happy to switch up the shape or style. I love the hard gel, it's durable and natural looking. My friends love her too and are always asking who does my nails. Can't say enough good things! I recommend calling ahead and there is a bus stop right out front.

Sweetest woman did my nails! I got a gel mani for valentine's day and she did a good job replicating what I showed her as a reference (chrome nails with a little red heart on each nail). The place is quite small so definitely call ahead for an appointment, especially if you want to do a more complex design. You have to take the elevator up the 500 building to the 8th floor to find the studio. Prices pretty standard for SF nails -- the gel mani cost me $50. I've yet to find anywhere cheaper around me. They do a decent job for the price. Felt pretty pampered throughout the whole experience. I noticed one of my nails wasn't fully painted/started chipping right after though, which made me a bit sad :( Would recommend, it was a nice experience -- super kind workers and the vibe inside is very relaxing! They also do lash extensions and facials.

Love coming here for gel manis! Annie (the owner) consistently takes great care of me and her recommendations are always on point. Recently she introduced me to hard gel and they're super durable which is what I needed because I'm always bumping into things. She's also quick to respond to texts and efficient with her service, and overall a very sweet lady. Will be coming back again and again :)

Affordable and great quality! They do hard gel for $40 and have so many OPI colors I opted for a cherry red and I'm still obsessed I will definitely be back

SERVICE: the sweetest lady ever, she also gets help from her relatives/ friends. she stayed behind because i was running late for my nail appointment, and she let me text her to update her NAILS: it was not the best nail job ever, but she still did a good job and she was not rushing. when i asked her to fix something, she was really sincere and fixed it right away! she overall did a good job, just wish the coat wasn't so sheer you can see the distinction between the whites and pinks of my real nail underneath it's a small quiet salon in an office building, so don't expect to walk in, call first to see if they have same day appts!

This was my first time taking an elevator to a nail salon. It's a very intimate space with room for two people to get their nails done at a time so I would definitely recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment. I got a gel mani/ pedi. It was efficient and relaxing with so few other people. So glad I found this place- I would happily visit again next time I am in town! I got a lavender cat eye gel manicure and gel pedicure and expected the prices to be higher because of the whole elevator two customers at a time situation but the prices were reasonable and the quality is lasting well.

I had such a great experience at Doan's Nail Salon!!! Annie did my nails. From the beginning to the end I felt welcomed, comfortable, and very taken care of she was so kind. I got a French tip with the pink part a certain color pink and it came out SO BEAUTIFUL!! These are my favorite nails ever, and I haven't gotten my nails done this nice in such a long time. Honestly I'm very picky with nail salons but this is my new favorite spot. So so beautiful I love. Thank you Annie Will forever be coming here now!

Small nail shop on the 5th floor of an office building with affordable gel & acrylic! It was ~$65 for acrylic with design and ~$40 for gel. The nail tech did a good job shaping and filing nails, but the design felt a little rushed. If I were to come back, i'd probably stick with just one color, but overall service was very nice
